History & Mission
|
The
Marriage Ministry Committee at St. Mary evolved from a parish self
study and a Strategic / Core Group Planning Session in January 2009. An
invitation for interested couples to join the committee resulted in an
initial meeting in February 2009. The committee has countinued to meet
on a regular basis. The mission of the committee is to celebrate the
Sacrament of Matrimony, provide enrichment opportunities, share
information and resources about marrage in group settings and through
the parish bulletin and website, and to schedule activities that
encourage interaction between couples at the parish.
