Experience the Joy of Following Christ
Following Christ takes more than simply believing in him or doing what he asks of us. Jesus wants you to be more than just a believer — He wants you to be his disciple and friend. Follow Me: Meeting Jesus in the Gospel of John is your guide to a personal encounter with Christ. As the Good Shepherd, Jesus seeks after us. He comes to meet us and beckons us to follow him. He calls us to be his disciples, to trust him, to open ourselves to his merciful love, and to love others as he has loved us. Follow Me invites you to experience the joy of a renewed friendship with Christ.

You will:
– Learn what it takes to follow Christ.
– Discover the joy of divine friendship.
– See how God, and only God, can satisfy the deepest desires of your heart.

Summer 2017

Thursday, 8 June – 3 August

Paul’s letter to the Ephesians reveals many remarkable gifts that we as Christians are given in the Church. This letter tells us about the nature of the Church – as a body, as a household, as a mystery, as a communion, as a bride, and as an army. It shows us the great inheritance that awaits us as sons and daughters, adopted fully into the family of God. It reveals how God’s great love for us can transform our daily lives if we allow it. Ephesians:Discover Your Inheritance is an 8-part Bible study that will enrich your faith, and show you how to live it out.

This 8-part DVD Scripture study lead by Jeff Cavins will enrich your faith and show you how to live it out.

  • Discover what it means to be not just a child of God, but an heir to all He has to give
  • Learn the great mystery of how we can love one another as Christ loves the Church
  • Find out that you have a place in God’s “plan of sheer goodness”

Sessions will be held on Thursdays from 7 – 8.30 in the Spirit Center beginning on 8 June and ending on 3 August. A session will not be held on 20 July due to the Lancaster Festival Concert being at our parish church.
