Dear Youth of the Church,
Jesus Christ calls us to serve our fellow neighbor. Christ tells us in the Gospel of Matthew, that if we serve others, we are serving Him. Our parish very excited to bring back our day of service at St. Mary’s called Lumen Christi. Not only are we living out the message of Pope Francis when he called this year, the Year of Mercy but also it gives us a chance to show the community the love of Christ in our actions as Catholics. We will be working with four locations within Fairfield County. Lumen Christi is on Saturday, April 23 from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm. Students in grades 7- 12 are again welcome to participate and we will also welcome students in grade 6 provided a parent attends the day with them.
